Dr. Gamson was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN. He attended Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon where he obtained a degree in Foreign Language and Literature.
Deciding to pursue a career in Medicine, Jonathan took pre-medical courses at the University of Washington and then entered the University of Washington’s School of Medicine. He received his MD designation in 1995. His internship and Family Practice Residency was completed at Ventura County Medical Center in California. Jonathan’s love of the Northwest brought him back to Washington and to NCFP in 1998.
He is board certified by the American Academy of Family Practice. He is interested in sports medicine and adolescent health. He is an avid runner, hiker and loves spending time with his family.
