A Washington native, Dr. Bylund grew up in Port Orchard and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington. He then accepted a commission as a U.S. Navy officer and attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, in Maryland. He completed family medicine residency training at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, California, in 2003. Prior to joining NCFP, Dr. Bylund practiced as a staff Family Physician at US Naval Hospital Okinawa, Japan, and Naval Hospital Oak Harbor, Washington.
Dr. Bylund is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He has a wide variety of medical interests and enjoys the opportunity to provide care to the entire family.
Interests outside of medicine include spending time with his wife and two children, enjoying outdoor activities, cooking, and travel.
